‘We the People’ is the White House’s theme for the holidays

On Monday, First Lady Jill Biden unveiled her theme for the White House Christmas decorations: 

 The decorations were completed by more than 150 volunteers, and 

"include more than 83,000 twinkling lights on trees, garlands, wreaths and other displays" 

). The tradition of announcing a theme for the White House's official Christmas tree began with First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy, who chose a "Nutcracker Suite" theme in 1961.
