Starbucks, which is the world's leading coffee chain, opened its first store in 1971; it's since grown into a worldwide company with over 32,000 stores and valued at more than $110B. Despite the inflationary pressures described by the company, the Starbucks CEO received a nearly 40% pay raise compared to the year prior.
