Why It Matters: Hurricane Lee has evolved over the last week to a Category 5 storm, back to a Category 1. The concerns remain wind as well as storm surge, but Dr. Brennan urged caution that the storm is "not just as a coastal event" and suggested sheltering in a "safe space" by Friday evening.
Interesting note: Hurricane Lee is a massive storm - bigger than the infamous Hurricane Katrina but Katrina was a much stronger storm when it made landfall.
