Why It Matters: The U.S. experienced a slew of dramatic weather this week from snow in California, to hurricane-force winds in Texas and further weather threats for Friday, including tornadoes. The weather has disrupted travel (caused severe turbulence and injuries on planes), impacted the electricity, and caused injury and death.
