• Several mitigation efforts have been used to blunt the spread of COVID in schools and amongst children over the last year: social distancing, ventilation, masking and using pods (smaller class sizes).
• Various school districts will continue all, some or no mitigation efforts. Dr. Gottlieb warned against doing away with all of them while we are still learning about the delta variant.
